Limited to how many couples per venue? 10 couples per venue per date. However at Japamala Resort Pulau Tioman, as this is a small & rustic boutique resort it is limited to 6 couples per venue per date. What is the timing for the entire 3 Days? As in, what time should we arrive? What time is the Pre-Dinner Cocktails? Ceremony? Etc. Once you have confirmed your booking, a detailed itinerary would be provided to you so that you can plan your travel schedules. On hindsight, some of the resorts would require your flight information as they are providing airport transfers in their packages How do I get to the Venue? You will have to make your own arrangements to get to the venue. Please do check out the special prices offered to all WedFest clients for domestic routes by Eton Travel & Tours. Once your itinerary has been issued to you, you will be able to plan your travel plans quite easily. Your wedding planner for WedFest will also be able to assist you should you require further assistance. Am I able to fly on Air Asia for the domestic routes? You can by all means travel any which way you like to get to the venue! It says the kick-off date for WedFest is happening on the 14th February 2007. Can I book for a date before the 14th Feb 2007? WedFest officially starts on the 14th February 2007 and bookings made before the kick-off date will be viewed on a case-by-case basis So, I can pick any date within the year to celebrate WedFest? Yes, any dates within the year. Please bear in mind that it is a 3 day, 2 nights celebration. So, if you're looking at having your ceremony on the 14 th February '07, it simply means that you will check-in on the 13 th Feb '07 and check-out on the 15 th Feb 07
WedFest Details Pre-Wedding Cocktails Pre-Wedding Cocktails on Day 1 if we were the only couple, would it be weird? Of course it will not be weird. You can still mingle with the photographers & make-up artists as well as the wedding planner on-site. The photographers are there at your disposal. You can take the opportunity to take more wedding portrait photographs Pre-Wedding Cocktails on Day 1 are they serving alcohol? Some packages come with non-alcoholic pre-wedding cocktails, whereas some come with alcoholic pre-wedding cocktails. If you do not take alcohol, you can always make a request for non-alcoholic cocktails. But this does not affect the pricing of the packages
WedFest Details Photography, Make-Up & Hairstyling What is Scheduled Pre-Wedding photo shoots? The pre-wedding shoot is a chance for the couple to take breathtaking portrait photography around the beautiful area of the resort. In the event where there is more than 1 couple, a schedule needs to be worked out so that you will get the best treatment from the photographers. The sessions will be scheduled based on first-come-first-serve basis Eg. Couple 1 will have their Pre-Wedding shots in the sunset time of Day 1, couple 2 will have their pre-wedding shots in the sunrise of Day 2 and couple 3 will have their pre-wedding shots in the sunset of Day 2, etc Wedding Photography what am I getting from Photography? You will be getting unlimited exposure of portrait shots as well as unlimited exposures of your wedding ceremony. You will receive all hi-res files in a CD format. Wedding Photography what if I would like to have a photo album done up? This is a separate deal with the photographers and is outside of the WedFest package For the WedFest package, you will be given a CD of all the photographs taken during your 3D/2N celebrations Make-Up & Hair Styling what am I getting from the make-up & hairstyling in the package? You will have 2 make-up and 2 hair-styles for your wedding celebrations. Valid only during your WedFest wedding celebrations Make-Up & Hair Styling what if I do not like the make-up and hair-style? Considering that a trial session cannot be arranged beforehand, it is wise for you to use the pre-wedding cocktail session to speak to the make-up artist to let her know what you want. If possible, do bring a photo reference along Make-Up & Hair Styling what if my guests would like to do their make-up & hairstyling as well? This is outside of the WedFest package and the cost can be negotiated with the artists on-site separately
Wedding Ceremony what if it rains? There is a rainy day back-up plan at all venues. The ceremony will then take place at a covered area. Do not see this as a setback, local culture believes this is a blessing from the skies Wedding Ceremony what about registration of our marriage? As it is rather difficult in Malaysia to bring a registrar of marriage out of the registrar's office, it is wiser to just go through the wedding ceremony but not have it legally binding. Special arrangements outside of the WedFest package can be done to help you get registered in Malaysia . Do contact Nupts & Such for more information or assistance on legally registering your marriage in Malaysia . Wedding Ceremony what would the celebrant do? The celebrant would take the couple(s) through the motions of the wedding ceremony, officiating their exchange of vows, rings and kisses as well as spearheading the toast. If you would like one of your guest to be the Celebrant for a more personal touch, you are more than welcomed to do so Wedding Ceremony what if there are more than one couple on my chosen date but I do not wish to share the ceremony with another couple? In this case, please do inform our wedding planner(s) at Nupts & Such and we will arrange it so that you will each have your private ceremony but at different times of the day. The time slot for the ceremony will be scheduled based on a first-come-first-serve basis Romantic Lunch or Dinner are we getting both lunch and dinner? If not do we have a choice of whether we want lunch or dinner? Certain packages have been determined and only Lunch option is provided. Other packages have determined that only Dinner will be served
If I were to bring additional guests what is the limit for number of guests? Most of our partner resorts have limited accommodation space, so number of guests will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. However, we can make arrangements for your guests to stay at nearby venues. This would be outside of the WedFest Additional Guest Package. Our wedding planners will be able to assist you with this If I want to host a wedding dinner for my guests can this be arranged? Most certainly. But this would be a separate package outside of the WedFest package and the arrangements and planning can be discussed with Nupts & Such If one of my guests have signed up for the additional guest package, can he/she bring a friend along just to stay in the room, but the friend does not pay for the package? For the additional guest package , except for Four Seasons, it is strictly stated as per person basis. At the Four Seasons, per room is limited to 2 adults only. At the Japamala Resort, due to very limited number of rooms, no packages are available. However, Nupts & Such will assist should you really require accommodations for your guests
What Are the Payment Terms? 50% deposit to be paid to secure your booking date 2 months before the wedding date of choice. The remaining balance of payment needs to be paid 2 weeks before wedding date of choice. If I extend my stay, do I still qualify for WedFest room rates? Some resorts have provided an extended stay package whereas most partner resorts will revert back to the normal rates after the 3rd Day. In the event where you and your guests have a substantial amount of rooms booked for the extended stay period, a group package can be negotiated What if there are certain items on the packages that I do not wish to have? Will I get a cheaper package? The packages are fixed. Reduction of any items on the package does not mean a reduction of package price How do I pay? For Malaysians, you can issue a crossed cheque made payable to Nupts & Such Sdn Bhd For overseas couples, please do a telegraphic transfer of the money in equivalent to the local exchange rate. Nupts & Such Sdn Bhd Are there any other hidden costs in the WedFest package? What you are getting from the package is outlined very clearly and will be outlined very clearly in the invoice. There will be no hidden costs. As mentioned, any additional requests are deemed to be outside of the WedFest package and will be charged separately What is the best time to book for WedFest? The whole idea of WedFest is to have an all-year wedding celebration. So, any day is a good day! |
